As the majority of filmmakers will tell you, when we first start out, we do every job by ourselves. We’re the makeup artist, producer, writer, director, chef and the list goes on and on.

It takes us awhile to figure out how to let go and learn to trust others. It’s not easy. One of the great things about wearing many hats is that you have an understanding as to what everyone does, but at a certain point, we have to learn how to let go and trust our team.

That’s one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned over the years. There’s only one of me, so I had to learn how to delegate and take my hands off the steering wheel a bit.

We are a creative collective of directors and producers specializing in Film, Commercial and Branded content. Get the inside scoop, straight to your inbox by Subscribing to my newsletter HERE.
